POP-3 Accounts
A POP-3 account is a special type of account that is used only for email. When first created, a POP-3 account will be only an email address of username@llamacom.com. In order to add this new email address to your domain you must use the control panel to add an email alias that points to username@llamacom.com.
POP-3 accounts are used in situations where you have several people who need to get their email and are on a network but don't already have seperate email addresses.
Email aliases
Email aliases are the most popular way to start getting email from anything@yourdomain.com. You probably already have a working email account from your local ISP, so just create an alias that sends mail to that email account.
